The Challenge

The WLA International Women’s Day conference is an annual event held by the Women’s Leaders Association. Each year for the last 8 years, hundreds of leaders have come together to discuss what’s new, what’s different, what’s working at the moment in the gender diversity and leadership space.  Sandra who is the founder of the WLA has been doing the event in house for the past 8 years and brought on Saving Grace to relieve the pressure off her.

A dense floral wall in shades of pink, cream, and burgundy roses and hydrangeas, with a small sign reading "WLA, IWD 2024, Celebrating 10 Years of the WLA's IWD Conference," noting the wall's sponsorship by Essar Energy Transition Fuels.
Three women sit on stools on stage during a panel discussion, in front of a large screen reading "IWD 2024" and "Celebrating years of the WLA's International Women's Day Conference." The seated audience is silhouetted in the foreground.

What We Did

We  integrated the WLA’s branding and colour scheme into every aspect of the event. This included elegant table centrepieces and customized notebooks and pens for all attendees. The day featured a conference compromised of panels, fireside chats & a keynote motivational speaker with breakout sessions in the afternoon, followed by a swift transition into the ‘SHINE’ awards ceremony, which concluded the day’s events.

A woman in a striped shirt rests her chin thoughtfully on her hand as she watches a presentation, seated among a crowd of attendees all looking upward toward the stage, with a table set with water glasses visible in the foreground.
An attendee wearing an "IWD 2024" lanyard stands up from her seat at a table to speak into a handheld microphone, gesturing as she asks a question. She's surrounded by seated audience members at round tables set with glassware and floral centrepieces, with soft pink lighting on the wall behind them.
Three women chat and smile together at a networking event, with lanyards visible on two of them. Other attendees mingle in the softly lit background, with red accent lighting and partially visible signage on the wall behind them.
