Challenge

This marks our third year working with She Leads for Legacy, a female-led organisation focused on empowering and inspiring Black women to advance into senior leadership and board-level roles. The 2024 theme, “Dare to be Powerful,” presented a new challenge for the conference: engaging their ever growing group of 450 guests in a fresh, dynamic environment from the moment they arrived. Founders Sharon and Afiya wanted a bold new branding style with unexpected details through the conference that would surprise and delight guests, making the event stand out from typical conferences.

 What We Did

 Against a backdrop of Salford Quays and Media City, we used SLL branding to tie in the bright painted colours of the Quays Bar where breakfast and lunch were served. Inside the Quays Theatre we held a conference filled with keynotes, fireside chats, Q&As and panel discussion as well as entertainment, artisan catering and plenty of networking opportunities all of which tied together the theme of ‘Dare to be Powerful’.
