Neebzfest: A bespoke festival-themed event in Cheshire
What better way to celebrate a birthday than with your very own festival?
When our private client Roxsan asked if we could help create a bespoke festival for her husband Chris’ 40th, we said YES!
Introducing Neebzfest…
This unique event brought together Chris’ family and friends over his love of live music. From bands and DJ sets to karaoke, a glitter bar and street food stalls, Neebzfest had something for everyone who attended. We even turned a swimming pool into a disco room, complete with a DJ booth and dance floor!
The brief
The brief was to deliver a surprise 40th celebration at our client’s Cheshire home, encompassing all of Chris’ favourite elements of festivals. Using a play on the birthday boy’s surname, Neebzfest was created.
We worked very closely with Roxsan throughout the planning process, to find out more about Chris and what he would love to see at an event like this. Our mission was to understand and bring to life Roxsan’s event vision.
When thinking about the look of Neebzfest, beautiful boho decor was decided upon, with bespoke branding and incredible production further enhancing the visuals.
Festival lineup
Guests were greeted by stilt performers and a live band, before being handed their very own VIP festival lanyards and wristbands.
Neebzfest maps signposted guests to the food village, where a selection of artisan food trucks served up hand-stretched Neapolitan pizzas and hog roast sandwiches. A traditional ice cream cart also provided sweet treats throughout the event.
The main, outdoor festival area centred on the big tipi, which hosted an exciting lineup of DJ sets and live bands, including a special headline performance from Pendulum. Beside the main stage area, a small hat tipi hosted a full-service bar, serving Neebzfest-themed cocktails and drinks. Within the outdoor area, there was also a children’s entertainment tent, a glitter bar, and luxury shepherds’ hut toilets.
Indoors, festival goers enjoyed further entertainment in the form of a karaoke and casino room.
Later in the evening, event attendees were able to toast marshmallows over a fire pit, before the event wrapped up with a big after-party!
