The Brief
The Genius Group wanted to bring colleagues together for its annual team day, creating an experience that encouraged collaboration, friendly competition and celebration away from the office. The event needed to balance structured activities with relaxed social time, giving colleagues the opportunity to connect, challenge themselves and celebrate together in a fun summer setting.
Our Approach
Working closely with The Genius Group, we designed and delivered The Genius Games, a fully managed team experience centred around teamwork, problem solving and participation. From guest logistics and coach transfers to activity management, catering and evening entertainment, every detail was carefully planned to create a seamless journey from arrival through to the final coach home.
Guests collected packed lunches before travelling by coach to The Colony, where they were welcomed with refreshments, branded merchandise, music and a photobooth before taking part in three rounds of competitive challenges. The afternoon combined brain games, an inflatable obstacle course and classic school sports day races, with points awarded throughout and a live leaderboard building anticipation ahead of the prize-giving ceremony. As the competition came to a close, the atmosphere transitioned into the TGG Sundown Sessions, featuring a summer BBQ, live music, DJ entertainment and company speeches to round off the day.

The Result
The result was a high-energy team day that perfectly balanced competition, collaboration and celebration. Every element of the event ran seamlessly, from guest arrivals and transport logistics through to the activities, prize-giving and evening entertainment, ensuring a smooth experience for both guests and the client.
The carefully planned schedule kept momentum high throughout the day, with colleagues fully embracing each challenge before unwinding together during the Sundown Sessions. The variety of activities encouraged participation from everyone, creating an inclusive atmosphere where teamwork, encouragement and plenty of friendly rivalry took centre stage.
Client feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with particular praise for the organisation, attention to detail and the effortless flow between each stage of the event. The activities ran to schedule, transitions were seamless, and the event team remained proactive throughout, allowing The Genius Group to focus on enjoying the day with their colleagues.
From the first coach departure to the final song, The Genius Games delivered a memorable experience that strengthened team connections, celebrated company culture and left guests with lasting memories of a fantastic summer celebration.
